I have had the privilege of photographing hundreds of beautiful weddings, so many its hard to narrow it down to a few to show you on a web site. Building a trusting relationship with your wedding photographer is so important (at least I think so). You want to be able to share your wedding plans and idea’s with your photographer and know they are as excited (If not more) than you!. My past and future wedding couples will tell you I invest a lot of time before, on and after your wedding day to ensure you have the best day. The photography should flow throughout your wedding day and blend into it rather than being an event in itself!.
Planning and communication is the key to the success of your wedding and photography. My couple appreciate the meetings we have ahead of their weddings. Ideally I like to meet at your wedding venue, yes there is a fair chance I have photographed your venue before, but I have never photographed Your wedding. At the meeting we go through the plan of your wedding day. Discuss what would happen if the weather wasn’t on side as well as look at your list of must have photographs. I write up a list of the family group photographs and get to know the members of your families and bridal party. Following our meeting I write up a list of the formal photographs I will take for you just so you know I have everything you want covered. On your wedding day I ensure I capture all of the photographs listed so you don’t have to worry and all the many, many informal moments you may have missed during the day.
My Style of photography is relaxed yet slightly directional, I will help guide you making sure you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
My aim is to retell the story of your wedding day, in a relaxed, friendly and organised manner. When you look back at your wedding photographs I want you to see the love and laughter of your wedding day, and spark the memories of the most amazing day.

Recent Wedding Stories
Hiring Julia was the easiest choice we had to make in our whole wedding planning process. We first met Julia at my sister’s wedding in 2017 so we saw how well she orchestrated the group photos and how lovely she was with everyone. We were so relieved when she said she was available for our wedding day!
We had an engagement photo shoot a year before the wedding which was great for getting to know Julia better and also showed off how well she worked with our dog (even bringing some dog treats!) knowing that we wanted him in some photos on the wedding day.
On the day, Julia was so organised and had planned where she needed to be at every moment of the day (or at least that’s what it felt like). Julia worked so hard to get all the photos that we wanted of us and our families, despite some tricky weather with it going from far too hot to far too wet! And she helped with so many little details as well, like doing the pocket squares for Dom and his groomsmen to make sure everything looked perfect.
Our photos are so beautiful, Julia you captured so many special moments of the day. It’s going to be very difficult to choose which ones to display. We might need to buy a bigger house so we have more space on the walls!
