The Waterside Rickmansworth

Weddings

The Waterside wedding venue in Rickmansworth is a pub turned into a lovely informal wedding venue. The gardens are the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony, with the marquee a back up for an indoor ceremony.

It was the beautiful setting and informal set up that really appealed to Louise and Lee and made it their dream wedding venue. Also the fact it is a dog friendly wedding venue sealed the deal.

With friends and family gathered Louise and Lee said I do with a celebrant lead wedding ceremony. Blue skies and sun shine made the day perfect.

Louise really wanted her dogs to be involved in her wedding wedding they both played a staring role throughout the day.

The Ceremony

A celebrant lead wedding is different from a traditional Registrar lead wedding. For one the the ceremony is more personal and the legal part has usually been head on a previous day. The Ceremony can contain readings of your choice and the celebrant will usually tell more of your personal story, how you met etc. Louise’s good friend is a celebrant and the perfect choice for Louise and Lee.

Drinks reception

The gardens at the Waterside are perfect for a drinks reception. Louise & Lee’s wedding guests enjoyed canapés and drinks, enjoying the summer sun and gardens. An entertainer was around for the children and their giggles and laughter filled the air.

Wedding Breakfast

There is nothing better than the smell of a bbq in the summer and this was perfect for the gorgeous day we all had. Being able to choose your wedding catering is what makes The Waterside in Rickmansworth appealing as a wedding venue.
