The Dairy Waddesdon Wedding
The breath takingly beautiful wedding of Mandy + Tony | The Dairy Waddesdon Manor Wedding
The excitement I had for Mandy and Tony’s wedding was immense, I have had the pleasure of watching Mandy and Tony plan their perfect wedding day at very close hand, as they are friends, our mornings in the school playground were always full of their wedding day plans.
The Dairy at Waddesdon manor has always been a venue I have wanted to photograph a wedding at, I have admired many a wedding photographed at this stunning and unique wedding venue. Now sometimes when I have a venue in such a high standing it can be a disappointment and not quite live up to my high expectations, I am so happy to say that this was not the case, the staff, food and venue were outstanding and what a day we had, one I will hold high in the memory.
Here is a little story of how our day went .. enjoy.
With overwhelming excitement I arrived extra early to meet Mandy who was getting ready at The Dairy. The morning flew by with lots of girly giggles with Mandy and her bridesmaids.
Now the weather forecast for the day was not looking promising .. all forecasts were predicting torrential downpours, thunder storms and flash floods .. not really the best for a wedding day, with this in mind it was left to the last minute to decide whether our ceremony would be on the beautiful terrace overlooking the stunning lake.
With Tony and his groomsman arriving at midday and also getting ready at the Dairy I was able to go between them both to get some getting ready photographs.
With the weather holding the decision was made to risk the outdoor ceremony, and I have to say I was so happy we were able too. It is a unique setting and so beautiful as you will see from the photos below. The ceremony was full of laughter and happy tears and the feeling of love for this couple was tangible throughout the ceremony.
We were blessed with a stunning afternoon where we all enjoyed the setting and reception.
I think one of the highlights although there were many others was the surprise of the singing waiters, the look of surprise on Jackie (Mandy’s mum’s face) is one I will never forget. They really got the party started, although with a unique table plan idea around Alcholo this was never going to be a subdued party!
Following the wedding breakfast Mandy and Tony joined me in a visit up to the Manor house were we had 20 minuets away to get some beautiful portraits and give them some time together.
Then it was time to get the party started … and what a party it was … the room was in full bouncing all night.
I thank Mandy and Tony for inviting me to share their amazing day, below are some of the many, many beautiful moments which I hope you will enjoy seeing.

“After seeing Julia at a couple of wedding shows she really stood out as extremely professional and the quality of the finished product was outstanding. All through the build up to the wedding she was full of good advice and attentive to our ideas.
On the big day she has enough authority to rally the guests and get the shots that everyone needs but also with a calming and relaxed demeanour,
that she was able to really capture the intimate moments. Nothing was too much and when an issue arose in the morning, Julia went above and beyond to help out.
We cannot recommend Julia highly enough and it was a pleasure to have her as our photographer on our wedding day”.
