Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer Julia Walters

Chenine and Arnaud got married at Tewin bury Farm, a uniquely beautiful barn in Hertfordshire with countryside views. It was the most wonderful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony was an intimate affair outside on the private patio and meadow overlooking the River Mimram. With beautiful readings during the ceremony and the Flower Girl as ring bearer it was such a very personal service.

Tewin bury Farm is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. It is one of the loveliest barn wedding venues to get married in Hertfordshire.

The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding. There are many rustic buildings and the grounds are perfect for photos. Further more, the venue has a number of barns to hold your wedding in.

With drinks and canapés on the terrace and the air filled with beautiful music by Hayley everyone enjoyed the drinks reception, followed by intimate family dinner in the evening.

There were so many comments from guests on their stunning cake table not only a feast for the eyes, but importantly, also fantastic on the taste buds all created by the talented cake designer Rachel

While many couples are postponing their wedding day due to the current health crisis, Chenine & Arnauld actually embraced the current restrictions. Not only did they get engaged, they planned and had their wedding day all within the wedding restrictions in place at the time. Proving that you can plan the most amazing day under the most challenging of circumstances. It really was the most relaxed and fun wedding.

Chenine & Arnaud Share their wedding day memories ..

“We were recommended Julia at Fairytale Weddings from another local photographer so we felt reassured she would do a great job. Julia was fantastic! Julia is so friendly, warm and welcoming and we really feel at ease with her around. From getting ready/prepping for the big moment! She mingled so well with our guests and knew the venue. We felt she was one of our guests! Julia knew our venue really well and knew hidden gems of locations for our photographs

Best Memory

Best memory of our wedding day is probably the quiet moments we had just the two of us whilst having some evening photos taken in the amazing grounds of Tewin Bury Farm. Firstly, this gave us time together, we were also able to reflect on how grateful we were to have our intimate wedding. Most important to us was having our closest loved ones in beautiful surroundings and being able to celebrate, despite everything that is happening in the world.

Firstly, We chose to get married in covid because we did not want to put our life on hold. Life is forever moving and adapting and you need to move and adapt with it to progress in life. Secondly, having a small intimate wedding was extra special because we had the opportunity to spend time with all our guests in a relaxed way and appreciate every little aspect of our day. Be. Besides, we were much less nervous about the whole day knowing it was only going to be in front of our closest family and friends too!

Our advice to couples planning a wedding with restrictions!

Firstly, just go for it! Remember this is about YOU TWO, your day, with your most important people there, everyone else/extended family will understand. We are so happy we did and will forever cherish our intimate special wedding day.
