St Michael’s Manor is a little hidden gem just on the outskirts of St Alban’s. Set in beautiful grounds and with its own lake, this venue is perfect for a country house wedding. It was the elegance and charm of the venue that Gemma and Rob feel in love with and chose this perfect venue for their wedding day.
I met Gemma and Rob at St Alban’s Arena wedding fair back in February this year. On our first meeting and subsequent ones we had great fun, Gemma and Rob shared with me their vision for their day. Gemma and Rob wanted the flow of the day to be effortless and relaxed and with our planning I was able to set the tone for the photography and help create most wonderful day.
Gemma’s very talented sister created all the stationary which was beautiful and the origami birds Gemma created and hung from the tree by the lake show the attention to detail and the unique vision Gemma and Rob had for their wedding day,
We had such a great day, I will leave the photos to tell the story and Gemma and Rob have kindly shared some kind words along with the wedding professionals they chose to bring their vision to life.
I thank Gemma and Rob for inviting me to share their amazing day I really had so much fun and hope you enjoy reliving their day.

We first met Julia at the St Albans wedding fair. We instantly had a connection with her and really loved the way she designed her albums. After meeting Julia to discuss in more detail, there was no doubt that she was the right photographer for us. She had loads of experience, would clearly step in and help out if there were any emergencies and most importantly really understood how we wanted out day to be photographed. Julia captured the story of our wedding day without people even realising they were being photographed. Friends and family were so impressed by how friendly Julia was and was surprised how she could remember all their names. Having Julia at our wedding was like having another friend – thank you so much for capturing so many special memories for us!
