Hatfield House Wedding photography

The Old Palace at Hatfield House was the perfect setting for Bhavika and Dipesh’s beautiful spring wedding.  We were blessed with a warmer than expected April day.

Having spoken to Bhavika and Dipesh and met them before their big day I knew their wedding was going to be a fun and very colourful day.

Our day started at Bhavika and Dipesh’s house where as they had, had already had a formal wedding ceremony in India the traditional groom not seeing his bride didn’t really apply.  This gave us the opportunity and time to do some beautiful bridal portraits before the ceremony, we used area’s around where Bhavika and Dipesh live as we as having time around the grounds of Hatfield House.

Family and friends gathered in the Old Palace for a beautiful ceremony.  Everyone enjoyed reception drinks and canape’s on the lawn above the knot garden.   We had quite a few family group photographs to take, but these were all completed in a timely manner.

Bhavika and Dipesh have kindly shared information from their day and I thank them for inviting me to share such wonderful memories.

We got married 17th Feb 2017 at GD Hotel Navsari India, it was an evening wedding which took place outside with around 500 guests. It was a beautiful traditional experience to be among our families. A dream come true!

About Julia:- I got Julia’s contact details from Perri from Hatfield House among other peoples.  Julia was very receptive to my initial email enquiry. She emailed back and followed it up with a call. She was very easy going, laid back on the phone which was nice. Her prices seemed reasonable and I really liked her website. We met her at her first to get to know her and see some of her work. We felt so at ease that me and my husband made an instant decision to go with Julia as we felt comfortable with her and that was important to us.

On the day she was fantastic, she came to our house, got to know the family, we felt relaxed on the day, nothing was too much trouble for her and she knew the venue Hatfield house inside out! She captured some amazing memories and we had great feedback from the guests also. They really liked her as a person and thought the photos came out very good. Overall she was super easy to work with, felt like we had known her for years.  Thank you Julia for making our day perfect! 😊

Best memory of your wedding day – best memory would be having all my family and friends there everyone I care about enjoying the sunshine having a great time in the gardens. Having Julia by our side knowing that she was with us every step of the way capturing the moments.

Any advice to future couples planning a wedding..Don’t worry about the small things! Keep it simple, It all works out in the end and most importantly it’s the people that make it special. –

Anything you would change. Cant think of anything it was perfect and how I imagined it to be.
