It’s very easy to see why couples fall in love with Micklefield Hall. The Folly | Temple is the most wonderful setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The Great Barn is an amazing setting for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. Derek & Adam are one such amazing couple.
Adam & Derek found me on instagram having searched long and hard for their wedding photographer. They wanted a wedding photographer who would blend in with their day. Allow them to be themselves and most importantly have fun with them.
Adam & Derek had an amazing attention to detail. Their day was filled with all the things they loved, from great food, to amazing entertainment and lots of laughter. The Great Barn was filled with beautiful flowers and smelt amazing. The desert table was a work of art. It would be a miss of me not to mention their story telling wedding cake, an absolute work of art.
There was possibly a time when Adam and Derek thought their wedding wouldn’t happen, after all the law hasn’t long changed. To say these two wonderful men embraced everything their wedding day was and most certainly know how to throw the most amazing party.

Everyone at the wedding said that Jules fitted in fantastically and felt like one of the guests – which is just what you want. She blended in perfectly (perhaps too much, as there were times when we heard her camera click and had no idea where she was, as she was in stealthy positions to get the ideal shot).
The photos themselves are beautiful – just what we wanted. A mix of different styles – from highly formal to relaxed – which cover our entire wedding. And the photo album is truly magnificent!
