Hertfordshire is blessed to have many beautiful barn wedding venues. I have been honoured to photograph many weddings at quiet a few of them. Here are a few of the recent barn wedding venues I have had the pleasure of working at.
Micklefiled Hall || Hertfordshire Barn Wedding venue in Sarratt.
Situated just outside the small Sarratt village near Watford this stunning grade II listed 16th Century Barn. It is a privately owned venue with gorgeous gardens. What sets Micklefield Hall apart from other barn wedding venues is their unique outdoor ceremony location. The Folly with with a beautiful small lake and temple, is certainly one of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony location.
Should the weather not allow for an outdoor wedding the barn makes for an equally stunning back drop. The grounds of Micklefield Hall are lovingly tendered and make the perfect backdrop to your wedding photos. If you are lucky enough to have your wedding around April – May time you want to be sure to have some photos in the bluebell woods.

Milling Barns
Located near the rural village of Throcking close to Royston. Milling Barn has traditional character in its 17th Century Oak barn. The Dairy Barn is separate to the Oak barn and perfect for a drinks reception and wedding breakfast. Because the venue has numerous barns there are different area’s dedicated to your wedding for you and your guests to enjoy.

Tewin Bury Farm Barn Wedding
I have been photographing weddings at Tewin bury farm for over 20 years. During this time I have watched the venue grown and evolve in to one of Hertfordshires best know barn wedding venues.
It has always been a popular wedding venue in part because there are quite a few options for your wedding. With an outdoor set up for summer weddings as well as the barn itself. I have photographed weddings in all seasons and always find locations for creative photographs whatever the weather. Because the Barns are a blank canvas they can be beautifully decorated. The onsite hotel mean guests can stay over and enjoy more of the beautiful surroundings.
Essendon Country Club
Set within the stunning grounds of Essendon Golf club with its tranquil picturesque backdrop, the grand barn is a great wedding venue.
Set over two floors the top level perfect for your civil ceremony. while the ground floor is beautifully set out for your wedding breakfast.
The rolling hills , lakes, tree lined paths and bridges make for a stunning back drop to your wedding photos.
It is always an immense pleasure working at Essendon because the staff are always amazing.
