Is there a more grand and beautiful wedding venue in Hatfield? I have always loved working at Hatfield House, over 15 years it has always been an amazing experience for my wedding couples.
Sophie & Andrew choose to hold their civil wedding in the Old Palace and beautiful mixed their family traditions and values in their ceremony.
Sophie and her bridesmaids got ready at the nearby Comet Hotel. We were lucky to take over a conference room for them all to get ready together. The morning was a hive of activity.
The Old Palace is a dramatic historical back drop and Sophie and Andrews elegant cream and green colour scheme fitted perfectly.
With the autumn sun shinning we enjoyed a relaxed fun filled reception in the gardens.

We met Julia at the Hatfield House wedding fair. as it was a great opportunity to see the venue again. We were both instantly drawn to Julia’s photography! Choosing our photographer was quite the challenge, because there are so many options available. The decision on who was going to photograph our wedding was one we researched and didn’t make quickly,
When we met Julia we were draw not only to her beautiful photography but also Julia’s personality. She has such a warm and infectious personality and someone that we would be more than happy to spend our whole day with. Julia has captured such beautiful memories for us, ones that will last a life time and beyond. We have so many amazing pictures, choosing which to put on display has become our toughest decision yet!
Julia was far more than our wedding photographer on tour wedding day, Julia was looking out for us through the day, giving us a moment to share as a married couple and keeping us informed on everything that was going on. We felt so looked after!
