Sophie and Dean chose Gosfield for the December Wedding. With its beautiful rooms, open fireplaces and cosy feel Sophie and Dean knew it was the perfect venue because you never can guarantee the weather!

Gosfield Hall is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Essex. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
The ceremony
The ceremony was an intimate service in the Queen Charlotte’s oak panelled gallery. During the ceremony their families looked on with love and pride in their eyes. It was really beautiful relaxed ceremony with many a tear in the eyes of parents as they looked on.
The reception
One of the many reasons Gosfield Hall is a perfect wedding venue is you get the whole venue to yourselves. This gives you a range of rooms to use for your drinks reception. Because it was a beautiful yet cold day the drinks reception was held in the Grand Salon. The air was filled with beautiful background music from the very talented Hayley Pomfrett.
The couple
Sophie wore a stunning sequin dress by Eliza Jane Howell and Dean wore a three-piece suit and they looked really gorgeous.
The December winter light was perfect for some quiet moments with Sophie & Dean.
The couple got in touch with me after meeting at St Albans Arena Wedding Fairy. Their enquiry was really touching. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just really wanted me there. My style of documenting their wedding day in a natural way and completely unobtrusively was just what Sophie and Dean wanted.
