Bassmead Manor barns is a beautiful privately owned wedding venue located in the Cambridgeshire Country side. It was clear to me why Hollie &
Brad chose to have their wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns. The romanic tranquil setting, with exclusive use and rustic barns makes for a wonderful
back drop to the perfect wedding day. Hollie & Brad chose Bassmead Manor Barns because it had such a lovely, warm and magical feel to
it! They loved the rickety barn where they got married, because it was slightly unsymmetrical which just made it more perfect!
Getting to know my couples is just one of the ways I help ensure their wedding day goes to plan and they can relax on their wedding day.
I may not have photographed at Bassmead before but it really was a wonderful venue to work at. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
From the personal wedding ceremony, to an intimate drinks reception, amazing wedding food and even the slight mis-hap of the bridal
bouquet ending up in one of the ceiling orbs all made for the most amazing and memorable wedding day.
Hollie and Brad were so lovely to work with. Right from our very first brief meeting at a wedding fair, through to their amazing
engagement shoot with all their fur babies we just had such a great time. On their wedding day it felt as if we had been friends for years
and this showed in their wedding photos. Trust and communication is so important between my couples and myself and I truly pride
myself on going above and beyond for the ever lasting memories.

We have really struggled writing a review/testimonial for Julia, as we believe nothing we write will truly represent how grateful we are to Julia and how amazing she truly is!
We first met Julia at a local wedding fair, we were newly engaged and hadn’t booked a venue or decided on a date, but from our first chat, we knew we were going to book Julia as our photographer! Julia has the kindest and most lovely nature, she has a gift for making people feel at ease and comfortable around her; I think part of the reason for this is that she genuinely cares about you and your day! She took the time to get to know us as a couple and found out what is important to us for our pictures! Julia also took the time to do an engagement shoot with us, our two dogs and horse! Her patience and laughter made the day so amazing and relaxed, that after the engagement shoot we both agreed that one aspect of the wedding we were no longer nervous about was the pictures!
We looked at previous weddings Julia had photographed and loved the candid shots and the tone of her pictures; but seeing other wedding pictures had not prepared us for how much we LOVE our wedding pictures. Julia seemed to capture absolutely everything, we are in complete shock as to how one person could have been everywhere at once and our pictures reflect her calm and comfortable manner as we and our guests all look happy and relaxed (even the children!) Both our photography and videography we are speechless over!
Julia is not only a photographer, she is a friend and helping hand through an amazing but stressful wedding planning process and then someone who you can totally rely on, on your wedding day to go above and beyond to make sure you have the most amazing day!
Our advice to future couples planning a wedding is to of course book a meeting with Julia! However, we would also say to make sure to pick your suppliers carefully and make sure they’re the right ones for you; once you know they are then trust them fully to try and take some stress off of you!
